The Supported Employment Program streamlines referred beneficiaries from one department to another within the same program. The client is fist assessed, then should he/she meet the necessary criteria, be moved to the relevant department, namely skill building or the supported job centre.

From the moment that the client is committed to an interview for work, a job coach is indicated so as to mentor the client through the interview period, the job trial period and, eventually, the registered work period.

Supported Employment does not stop when a client successfully starts working. Ironically, that is indeed when Supported Employment actually starts making a difference for the client; ensuring a long-term view of the latter with regards to his permanent employment, by means of mentoring.
