The Malta Federation of Organisations Persons with Disability, together with MASE, co-hosted a marathon four day European series of Conferences in Malta, during the Malta's EU17 Presidency. The Conferences, all themed on one common subject; being Employment opportunities within the Labour Market for Persons with Disability, were organised together with the European Union of Supported Employment and the European Disability Forum, the latter celebrating its 20th Anniversary. More than 200 delegates from all over Europe, including Senators, EU and UN officials, officials from EASPD, UNHCR and WASE, participated in the Saturday 18th February Conference, which was officially opened by H.E. The President of Malta. Other guest speakers included the Maltese Members of the European Parliament, the Hon. Miriam Dalli and the Hon. Roberta Metsola.
